Mr. Shih, Jiing-Fuh, CEO and President of LH Bank, Mr. Waravoot Tocharoentanapol, President of LHFG along with management and volunteer staff attended the “Mangrove Forests Planting Project” to celebrate its upcoming 20thanniversary by planting 2,000 mangrove trees to increase mangrove forest area of 1,600 sq.m. or 1 rai, with carbon dioxide absorption capacity up to 20 tons of per year. In addition, collecting coastal trashes was part of this activity in order to sustainably restore coastal ecosystem. Additionally, this activity patronizes local school and youths who cultivate mangrove seedlings, generating income for local communities and societies, and reflects the commitment of LH Bank and LHFG to run business coupled with social and environmental responsibility. This activity was organized on Saturday, 22nd March 2025 at Bangpu Nature Education Center (BNEC), Bangpu.
